Minstead Study Centre

Volunteering led walks and hikes, mindfulness venue

Minstead Study Centre provides a venue for a range of courses for adults and children, across the year. We run courses ourselves, as well as offering the Centre as a venue for self-catered hire. We have a number of permanent staff and a band of volunteers, who help us on a weekly basis in our grounds and gardens, and with our education team.

What should participants expect?

Courses at the Centre are very varied and wide-ranging. Bookable courses have included a range of art and craft activities as well as different aspects of garden and grounds work.
Groups have hired the Centre as a venue for a wide variety of self-run courses too. These have included mindfulness and wellness, spiritual retreat, cookery, running, cycling, yoga and music-based courses.

The Centre provides a super environment for a wide range of possible activities, in beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. Volunteers at the Centre work in a team undertaking a range of gardening and conservation tasks. We supply full necessary training, a warm and friendly welcome, and lots of coffee and cake!
